YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds are possible across portions of the area this afternoon, mainly along and north of Interstate 70 between 12 PM and 7 PM MDT. A Tornado Watch remains in effect for Red Willow, Decatur, Sheridan, Norton, and Graham counties until 9 PM CDT.  A High Wind Warning remains in effect for portions of the area tonight through mid-day Saturday, mainly along and north of Interstate 70.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Breezy to strong northwesterly winds will foster near critical fire weather conditions across the entire Tri-State area Saturday afternoon.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Severe thunderstorms are possible today, mainly along and north of Interstate 70 between 12 PM and 7 PM MDT. Spotters are encouraged to report severe weather to the National Weather Service in Goodland via social media or telephone.
