YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for counties along and north of Highway 36 from Yuma County Colorado through Decatur County Kansas for Tuesday afternoon. Low relative humidity values and gusty winds up to 35 mph. A southeast to northwest wind shift will create the potential for dangerous wildfire spread to occur even for those not in the watch area.  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible Tuesday and Friday afternoons along and west of the Kansas/Colorado state line and on Wednesday afternoon for the entire area.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
