YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A few severe storms are possible late this afternoon, mainly in eastern Colorado and adjacent Kansas and Nebraska border counties between after 3pm mountain time. Localized wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to half dollars are the primary hazards. Localized dust storms can not be ruled out either with the strongest winds reducing visibility to one mile or less.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for portions of the area on Sunday, mainly along and west of Highway 25 where breezy southwest winds and low humidity could lead to rapid wildfire growth.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
