A Red Flag Warning is in effect from late morning through the early evening across the entire area. Wind gusts of 30-55 mph are forecast along with humidity in the low teens. These conditions will lead to the potential for rapidly spreading wildfires. A 20-30% chance of wind gusts exceeding 60 mph across Yuma, Dundy, Cheyenne county Kansas and northern Kit Carson counties this afternoon. Should these winds occur then dangerous travel conditions could occur, especially for high profile vehicles along with downed trees or power lines.. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Friday across Yuma and Kit Carson counties.
