This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Dense fog is forecast to develop across the area overnight. Visibilities around one half mile or lower are currently forecast significantly reducing visibilities if traveling. With temperatures near freezing some instances of freezing fog leading to ice on elevated surfaces can't be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... Dense fog is forecast to persist through mid morning Tuesday, perhaps even into the early afternoon across Red Willow, Decatur, Norton and Graham counties. Significant visibility reduction is the most likely impact for the morning commute. Temperatures are still forecast to be near freezing through the morning Tuesday so can't rule out some localized minor icing due to freezing fog. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
