YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Locally critical fire weather conditions are forecast through around mid afternoon as west-northwest winds gust 25-30 mph. Should a fire start it may be difficult to control. A wind shift to the northeast is forecast to occur this afternoon which would add an additional impact for those responding to a fire.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Freezing drizzle or a light wintry mix is forecast to begin Sunday afternoon and continue through Monday morning. A glaze of ice may occur leading to slick roads, sidewalks and other elevated surfaces. The area currently favored to see these conditions are along and east of a Red Willow to Gove county line.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
