YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Fire danger will improve through the evening hours as winds relax and temperatures cool.  Fog is possible overnight tonight , mainly northeast of a Trenton to Hill city line. Visibility under a half of a mile is expected, use caution if traveling in fog tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for portions of the area Tuesday. Dangerous and unpredictable fire behavior is possible as any fires that develop would grow and spread out of control. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast to continue Wednesday.  A High Wind Watch remains in effect Tuesday as there is a risk for damaging wind gusts to 65 mph and blowing dust across portions of the area. Travel may become hazardous due to near brownout conditions and strong cross winds. While near brownout conditions are expected to be somewhat spotty, reduced air quality will be more widespread across the area. Those sensitive to reduced air quality may want to make plans to address this Tuesday.  Critical fire weather conditions may linger Wednesday for counties along the Kansas-Colorado Border. Fires that develop may be unpredictable, and could grow and spread out of control.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
