YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Fog is expected to develop overnight, reducing visibility to under a half of a mile at times. With temperatures falling below freezing as well, a few slick spots on untreated surfaces are possible. The best chance for fog will be east of a McCook to Leoti line.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Red Flag warning is in effect for portions of the area on Sunday. Rapid fire growth is possible tomorrow due to gusty southerly winds and low humidities.  A Fire Weather Watches remains in effect for portions of the area Tuesday. Dangerous and unpredictable fire behavior is possible as any fires that develop would grow and spread out of control. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast to continue Wednesday.  There is a risk for at least 60 MPH wind gusts and blowing dust on Tuesday across the entire area. Travel may become hazardous due to reduced visibilities and strong cross winds, and air quality may be diminished.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
