YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for counties along the Tri-State border for late this morning, through the afternoon. Northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph and dry conditions are forecast which could result in rapid fire spread should a fire develop. An hour or two of critical fire weather conditions could occur across northern portions of Kit Carson and Sherman counties starting early this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions and any fires to local dispatch.
