This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Strong northwest winds will develop in the wake of a cold frontal passage Monday morning. Sustained winds at 25 to 40 mph and gusts to 50 mph may create difficult travel conditions throughout the day. High profile vehicles are most at-risk. Occasional gusts up to 60 mph are possible especially before 12pm MT. The strong winds may also support blowing dust leading to visibilities reductions, perhaps significant visibility reductions and poor air quality. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for all of eastern Colorado and Wallace and Greeley counties in Kansas where critical fire weather conditions are forecast. Rapid fire spread is still possible across the rest of the area but humidity values are forecast to remain higher at this time. Additional frost and freeze potential is possible Tuesday morning across most of the area. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
