YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Freeze Warning remains in effect until 10 AM MDT this morning for western portions of the area. A Frost Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM CDT this morning for eastern portions of the area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Strong northwest winds will develop in the wake of a cold frontal passage Monday morning. Sustained winds at 25 to 40 mph and gusts to 50 mph may create difficult travel conditions throughout the day. High profile vehicles are most at-risk. Occasional gusts up to 60 mph and localized reductions in visibility associated with blowing dust may further aggravate travel difficulties and reduce air quality.  Rapid fire growth is possible across the entire area on Monday. Outdoor burning is not advised. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for eastern Colorado, where humidity values will be lowest.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather is anticipated across portions of the Tri-State Area early this week. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
