This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Brief periods of critical fire weather potential are possible this afternoon along and west of a Dundy to Greeley county line as southerly winds gust 20-30 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... Strong southerly winds gusting around 55 mph may lead to some blowing dust across the area Saturday afternoon and some difficult travel conditions. Reductions in visibility around one mile or less are possible especially near dust source regions. Strong winds will also create some potential for fire spread if one were to develop. Outdoor burning is not advised on Saturday. Thunderstorms are forecast to develop along and ahead of an approaching cold front in northeast Colorado late Saturday afternoon and evening.
