YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Patchy fog is once again possible late tonight, mainly along and east of a Culbertson to Hill City line. Any fog that develops will persist until after sunrise and may cause visibilities of a half of a mile or less.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  On Saturday, southerly winds will increase to 20 to 35 mph with gusts exceeding 45 mph in some locations. The strong winds, combined with warm and dry conditions, will create an environment favorable for fires to rapidly grow out of control.  In addition to the heightened fire danger, potential exists for areas of blowing dust to develop in the afternoon and early evening.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
