YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Patchy frost is possible tonight along the Palmer Divide in western and southern Cheyenne County.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Strong and gusty southerly winds are forecast Sunday through Tuesday over the Tri-State area. There is a 50 to 80 percent chance of 40 mph wind gusts over east-central Colorado Sunday afternoon and evening and a 20 to 50 percent chance of 40 mph wind gusts west of US Highway 83 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Winds this strong pose a risk to high-profile vehicles and could produce blowing dust.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
