YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated thunderstorms late this afternoon and early evening in northeast Colorado and bordering counties in Kansas and Nebraska may be capable of producing gusty winds.  Above normal temperatures will return to the region today, with air temperatures and heat indices approaching 100 degrees this afternoon, warmest along and east of Highway 83.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Dry conditions and well above normal temperatures will persist through early next week, hottest along and east of Highway 83 where heat indices will approach 105 degrees during the afternoon hours on both Sunday and Monday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
