This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Severe weather is possible this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to ping pong ball are the primary threats, especially for those along and west of Highway 83 where we have a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Severe weather chances continue into Monday. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the main threats. A prolonged heat wave is expected to impact locations mainly along and east of U.S. Highway 83 through most of the next week.
