YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Thunderstorms anticipated to develop in the lee of the Colorado Front Range this afternoon will move eastward across portions of northeast Colorado, northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska late this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds appear to be the primary hazard with these storms. Gusts in excess of 75 mph are possible, especially along and north of Highway 36. In addition, there may be embedded supercells capable of producing large hail and perhaps a brief tornado. Heavy rain and flash flooding are also a concern, especially in areas that received heavy rainfall the past several days.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Another round of severe storms is likely late Monday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds will continue to be the primary hazard. Large hail, an isolated tornado and flash flooding are also possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports are encouraged and appreciated!
