YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect tonight with wind chill readings as low as 27 degrees below zero.  A Winter Weather Advisory begins tonight with snowfall amounts ranging from one to three inches. The highest amounts are expected to be generally east of the Colorado Kansas border.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  The Extreme Cold Warning continues through 11 AM MST (12 PM CST) Thursday. The coldest wind chill readings are forecast to be as low as 25 degrees below zero during the overnight and early morning hours.  The Winter Weather Advisory continues through 11 PM MST (12 AM CST) Tuesday night for an additional one to two inches of snowfall. Storm total snowfall amounts in the advisory area are forecast to range from 2 to 5 inches.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
