YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Locales from Hitchcock county in Nebraska, to Norton county in Kansas and north may briefly have wind chills around 15 below zero tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Accumulating snowfall is forecast to occur with the next system Monday and Tuesday. Exact amounts and placement of amounts is still being worked out but there is the possibility of accumulations high enough to impact travel.  A dangerously cold Arctic air mass will be in the area Monday night through Thursday morning. Overnight temperatures will potentially be between 10 and 20 below and wind chills 25 to 35 below. This will lead to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
