YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Periods of dry, fluffy accumulating snow may result in hazardous travel conditions across portions of the area Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. While strong winds are not expected, easterly to northerly winds at 10 to 20 mph may result in some blowing and drifting snow.  Dangerously cold wind chill temperatures as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero are expected over much of the area during the late evening and overnight hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Wind chill readings of this magnitude may quickly lead to frostbite and hypothermia in unprotected humans, pets and livestock, especially during prolonged or repeated exposure.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
