 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Near critical to critical fire weather is forecast across Kit Carson, Yuma and Cheyenne counties in east Colorado this afternoon. Fires may become harder to control and contain. Adjacent counties in Kansas (from Sherman south to Greeley) have forecasted near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected. Spotters are encouraged to report any fires to local dispatch however.
