A fresh, powdery snow pack across Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado may lead to some patches of blowing snow as winds gust around 30 mph. This would lead to periods of 1 mile or less visibilities making traveling hazardous. Wind chill values ranging from 10 below to 20 below are forecast for the entire area tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... There will be another chance for light powdery snowfall late Sunday night through the day Monday with snowfall amounts generally under one inch. Slick spots may develop on roads and sidewalks. An Extreme Cold Watch remains in effect through Tuesday morning. Overnight wind chill readings around 10 below to 25 below are possible for portions of the area. Be prepared for a prolonged period of very cold temperatures. Ensure pets, livestock and pipes are protected from the cold.
