YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Counties along the Colorado border have a chance for accumulating snow starting tonight. The higher chances for snow favor Eastern Colorado where a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 11 PM MST tonight through 5 AM MST Thursday morning. Dundy county along with Cheyenne and Sherman counties in Kansas are in a Winter Weather Advisory through 5am Thursday morning. Blowing snow may create travel impacts overnight, especially on west to east oriented roads. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Accumulating snow will continue through the overnight hours on Wednesday as both the Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect through 5am MT. More light snow accumulations are possible through Thursday evening, though confidence in exact snow amounts is low to moderate at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not required; however, any snow reports are greatly appreciated.
