YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Winds will abruptly shift to the northeast as a cold front moves southward across the Interstate 70 corridor this afternoon. Sustained winds at 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are expected for a brief period in the immediate wake of the frontal passage. Wind of this magnitude may create hazardous travel conditions, especially on west to east routes where cross winds will be strongest. Localized reductions in visibility associated with blowing dust are also possible.  Critical fire weather conditions are expected over northern portions of the area this afternoon, where a Red Flag Warning remains in effect.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
