YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for most counties along/east of Highway 83 through 800 PM CDT. Heat indices could reach up to 108F before sunset.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A few showers and thunderstorms capable of producing brief, localized wind gusts up to 65 mph cannot be ruled out Monday afternoon, mainly in eastern Colorado and adjacent Kansas and Nebraska border counties. Confidence is low with regard to whether or not storms will develop.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed at this time.
