YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Scattered thunderstorms developing along the Interstate 25 corridor in Colorado and Wyoming this afternoon will track east and southeast into Kansas and Nebraska this evening. A few severe storms are possible, mainly in northeast Colorado and adjacent portions of Kansas and Nebraska between 6 PM and Midnight MDT. Wind gusts up to 70 mph, torrential rainfall and dangerous cloud to ground lightning appear to be the primary thunderstorm related hazards.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Temperatures and heat indices in the 100 to 105 degree range are anticipated across portions of the area early next week, mainly east of Highway 25 on Monday and Tuesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
