YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory continues for northwest Kansas and extreme southwest Nebraska through 8 PM MDT (9 PM CDT) tonight.  There is a marginal to slight risk for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight capable of producing wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. Some patchy blowing dust will also be possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible once again Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard, though a few storms may be capable of marginally severe hail. Some patchy blowing dust may also occur.  There is a marginal risk for severe storms Wednesday afternoon and evening in eastern Colorado and west of Highway 27 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
