YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Scattered thunderstorms may develop over portions of the area late Friday afternoon and evening. A few severe storms are possible with brief, localized instances of damaging wind perhaps exceeding 80 mph being the primary hazard.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Daily potential for thunderstorms through next week with at least isolated severe potential each day.  Triple digit temperatures return Monday with near 105 heat indices along and east of Highway 83.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
