This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening generally south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado. Stronger storms will be capable of producing quarter sized hail and wind gusts of up to 60 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... There is a Marginal to Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday evening in northeast Colorado and west of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Storms will develop during the afternoon along the Front Range and reach the Kansas border by early in the evening, moving through the rest of the area Wednesday night. Some of these storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall. Severe thunderstorms will be possible once again Thursday afternoon and evening.
