This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Near critical fire to occasionally critical fire weather conditions will continue south of Interstate 70 in northeast Colorado and northwest Kansas through about 6 PM MDT. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this evening in southwest Nebraska and parts of northwest Kansas, north and east of a McCook to Norton line. If storms develop, brief gusty winds and perhaps hail up to quarter size will be possible. Any threat for storms will end by midnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Rain may mix with or change to snow Friday night and Saturday.
