A Red Flag Warning is in effect Saturday for Cheyenne county Colorado, Wallace, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas. Blowing dust will be possible late Monday afternoon through about sunset for locations generally east of a line from Haigler to Goodland to Cheyenne Wells. Very high to extreme grass fire danger continues Monday for the entire area with southerly winds gusting in excess of 40 mph. Severe thunderstorms are possible during Monday afternoon and evening, along and east of a McCook to Leoti line. Exact storm details are unclear at time. On Tuesday, there is increasing confidence in blowing dust from late in the morning through the afternoon as a strong cold front moves through. There is a potential for a wall of blowing dust along the front in which significant reductions in visibility would occur.
