YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  For Friday, a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne [CO] counties. A Fire Weather Watch remains for counties along and west of Highway 25.  Friday night will be windy with gusts up to 55 mph possible.  For Saturday afternoon, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms east of McCook to Hill City line. The primary hazards will be damaging wind gusts and areas of blowing dust, and perhaps a few storms capable of producing hail up to quarter size.  For the rest of the area Saturday afternoon, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts as well as areas of blowing dust.  Saturday night and Sunday, the risk of strong winds and blowing dust will continue. The main area of concern Saturday night will be southwest Nebraska and adjacent counties of Colorado and Kansas, spreading into the rest of the area through Sunday afternoon.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
