Areas of fog will continue into Thursday morning south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado. The fog may be dense at times. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Yuma, Dundy, Hitchcock and Cheyenne KS counties starting early Thursday morning and lasting into Thursday night. Looking for up to 2 inches of snow, especially along Highway 34, along with some light icing with up to 0.04 inches of accumulation. The remainder of the area will see an inch or less of snow Thursday into Friday. Roadways in areas that see precipitation may freeze quickly Thursday evening into Friday morning as temperatures will quickly plummet behind a cold front.
