YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible over portions of the area this afternoon. This will occur mainly east of the Highway 83 area, and in portions of northeast Colorado north of the Interstate, and adjacent Nebraska/Kansas.  The wildfire smoke tonight may lower air quality, mainly in locations east of Highway 25.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions remain forecast Saturday through Tuesday. A cold front is forecast to move through the area Sunday, causing a sudden wind shift.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
