YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Light to possibly moderate snow will remain possible through early this evening for locations generally south of Interstate 70. Visibilities may drop to one half mile or so. Roads may become slippery under the more intense areas of snowfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are likely for locations generally west of Highway 25 Saturday afternoon and generally south of the Nebraska Kansas border Sunday afternoon. On Monday, near critical to potentially critical fire weather conditions are anticipated south of Interstate 70. Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated across the entire area Tuesday afternoon.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
