This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 6 PM MST (7 PM CST) for locations generally along and west of Highway 25 plus Red Willow county due to west winds gusting 35 to 45 mph and low relative humidity down. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged. There is low confidence in patchy blowing dust developing in Cheyenne county Colorado this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday, bringing a sudden northerly wind shift, creating potentially dangerous fire weather conditions should one be ongoing. In the wake of the front some light snow accumulations are forecast through the evening and overnight hours; this could lead to some slick spots on roadways through Wednesday morning, impacting the morning commute. Wind chills Tuesday night into Wednesday morning fall into the single digits above zero. Elevated to Critical fire weather conditions are anticipated Saturday and Sunday across various parts of the area. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
