YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions will again develop Monday, prompting issuance of a Red Flag Warning for portions of the region with low humidity and westerly winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Blowing dust may develop generally along and west of a Wray to Wallace line Monday afternoon resulting in reductions to visibility and poor air quality.  A cold front will move through the area on Tuesday, bringing a sudden wind shift, creating potentially dangerous fire weather conditions should one be ongoing. Blowing dust is also a concern, mainly in the southwest corner of the area. In the wake of the front some light snow accumulations are forecast through the evening and overnight hours; this could lead to some slick spots on roadways through Wednesday morning, impacting the morning commute. Wind chills Tuesday night into Wednesday morning fall into the single digits above/below zero.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
