Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are possible Saturday afternoon due to the combination of low humidity and gusty west winds. The main area of concern is expected to be along and west of a Benkelman to Goodland to Tribune line. A stronger system will impact the area early next week. It will bring a risk of critical fire weather conditions Sunday and Monday followed by a chance for light snow Tuesday and Wednesday.
