YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are possible Saturday afternoon due to the combination of low humidity and gusty west winds. The main area of concern is expected to be along and west of a Benkelman to Goodland to Tribune line.  A stronger system will impact the area early next week. It will bring a risk of critical fire weather conditions Sunday and Monday followed by a chance for light snow Tuesday and Wednesday. Some blowing snow and dust may create additional travel hazards.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
