YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are possible across portions of the area on Wednesday, mainly south of Interstate 70 where breezy west southwest winds may develop during the afternoon.  A cold front will surge southward through the Tri-State area after sunset Wednesday evening. Breezy north winds will accompany and follow the frontal passage late Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning. Sustained winds ranging from 25 to 35 mph and gusts up to 45 mph are currently expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
