YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be possible Wednesday afternoon south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado.  Gusty northwest winds will develop Wednesday night behind a cold front. Some gusts over 40 mph are possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
