YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy dense freezing fog is occurring this morning mainly along and west of Kansas Highway 25, Sudden drops in visibility are expected along with some slick spots on bridges and overpasses.  Light snow will develop in Colorado today, spreading into the Colorado and Kansas border area late this afternoon and tonight.Snow ends by early Sunday morning. Nuisance to minor impacts expected, with only scattered travel hazards, mainly in Colorado. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado where the higher snowfall amounts are forecasted.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.Spotters are encouraged to report snow and visibility reductions to NWS Goodland via phone or social media.
