This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Strong south to southwest winds will affect much of the area during the day Wednesday with sustained speeds of 30 to 40 mph and gusts of 40 to 50 mph. Wind of this magnitude will create hazardous travel conditions, especially on west east routes such as Interstate 70, where cross winds will be strongest. Localized plumes of blowing dust, causing reduced visibilities and poor air quality, are possible from late morning through the afternoon for locations generally east of a line from Benkelman to Burlington and Cheyenne Wells.
