This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Patchy, intermittent dense fog may develop over a limited portion of the area tonight and Tuesday morning, mainly along and east of Highway 83. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... Strong south southwest winds will affect much of the area during the day on Wednesday. Sustained winds ranging from 30 to 45 mph and gusts up to 55 mph are expected during the late morning and afternoon hours. Wind of this magnitude will create hazardous travel conditions, especially on west east routes such as Interstate 70, where cross winds will be strongest. High profile vehicles are most at-risk. Reductions in visibility associated with blowing dust are also possible, mainly in northwest Kansas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
