This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect overnight for all counties along and north of Highway 36. Widespread dense fog will bring visibility down to a quarter mile or less, impacting area travel. Showers have moved into the area. While most of the precipitation will just be rain, a few thunderstorms are possible with lightning as the main hazard. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... Widespread dense fog will persist through the morning hours Saturday for areas along and north of Highway 36. Waves of moderate to locally heavy rain are forecast Saturday along with the potential for lightning. Saturday night, precipitation may start changing to or mixing with snow in northeast Colorado and adjacent counties in Kansas and Nebraska.
