This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Localized areas of patchy blowing snow are possible, especially for areas east of Highway 25, through the morning hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... An extended period of much below normal temperatures will begin on Thursday and continue into early next week. The weekend looks particularly cold as high temperatures may struggle to get above zero both days. Life threatening wind chills of at least 15 below and possibly to 25 below or colder will occur each morning Friday through Monday.
