YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until sunrise Tuesday morning for the majority of the area, except Yuma County in Colorado and Dundy County in Nebraska, where a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Patchy blowing snow may persist through late Tuesday morning.  An extended period of much below normal temperatures will begin on Thursday and continue into early next week. The weekend looks particularly cold as high temperatures may struggle to get above zero both days. Life threatening wind chills of at least 15 below and possibly to 25 below or colder will occur each morning Friday through Monday. Occasional rounds of snow will also occur, with the best chances for light to possibly moderate snow Thursday and again on Sunday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report snow accumulation to the National Weather Service in Goodland via social media or telephone.
