YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the entire Tri-state area. Fog will likely be dense at times with visibilities of one quarter mile or less. With temperatures well below freezing, the fog could deposit a thin glaze of ice on raised surfaces, potentially affecting area travel.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for the morning hours Thursday. Fog will likely be dense at times with visibilities being reduced to one quarter mile or less. Some areas could see a thin glaze of ice affecting raised surfaces before temperatures rise.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas east of the Colorado Kansas border from Thursday midday to Friday midday. A mix of freezing drizzle and light accumulating snow will impact area travel. Please use caution on area roadways.  There is a chance for an impactful winter storm to affect the region early next week with accumulating snow and gusty winds. Please continue to watch for forecast updates as they become available.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
