This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Cheyenne (Colorado), Kit Carson, Yuma, Dundy, Hitchcock, Cheyenne (Kansas), Sherman and Rawlins counties late tonight through tomorrow afternoon. Snow looks to develop around midnight across eastern Colorado and spread into northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska late in the night. With strong north winds and the potential for heavy snow at times, expect hazardous travel for counties near the Colorado border late in the night. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Tomorrow, the snow is forecasted to linger through the morning. Heavy snow bands with higher snow accumulations will be possible. Winds are also forecasted to gust up to 50 mph during the morning hours which could lead to blizzard conditions at times. Expect hazardous travel to continue in the advisory area through at least the morning. Blowing snow is possible during the afternoon hours which could reduce visibility. Monday winds could gust up to 40 mph which could allow for blowing snow and hazardous travel conditions. Late Monday and into Tuesday, another round of snow is possible for locales north of Interstate 70. The additional snow plus the possibility of wind gusts up to 60 mph during the day Tuesday could lead to hazardous travel conditions. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
