YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Areas of fog and freezing fog will develop late tonight through Thursday morning for locations along and east of Highways 83 and 23 in southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas. Visibility reductions to less than a mile are likely and the freezing fog may deposit a light glaze of ice on exposed surfaces.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Rain looks to return to the area Saturday, then mixing with or changing to snow Sunday and Sunday night, with all snow by early Monday morning. Light to moderate snow accumulations are expected along and north of Interstate 70, with mainly light snow south. Breezy to windy northwest winds may also result in areas of blowing snow, especially in Colorado and west of Highway 25.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
