YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy freezing fog may develop around or shortly after sunrise this morning in Hitchcock and Red Willow counties with potential it could extend south into Rawlins and Decatur counties. The densest fog may form around 9 A.M. CDT. If the fog should form, visibility reductions to less than a mile and some slick spots on bridges may impact morning travel. The fog is expected to clear by approximately 10 A.M. CDT.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  A transition to a more unsettled weather pattern is expected during the upcoming holiday weekend. Wintry precipitation is possible across the region on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Residents and travelers are encouraged to monitor the forecast as the week progresses.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
